The painting is a dialogue with myself on a low level. While recording my own bodies movements, I extract some alternative DNA of myself into data. This information about lines and movements can be used to inject a character into any kind of algorithmic composition to transcend it. These lines are a translation of abstract intentions, having had a former purpose but at the same time stand for themselves, expressing the the core of ones personality.
This painting is heavily influenced by computational and digital means. The computer is not a tool, it’s an instrument. An idea is not an algorithm, it’s a composition.
